A lot of packaged anjeer is soaked in sugar syrup to add weight and shine. It looks glossy on the shelf and tastes like candy, because that is mostly what it is.
Our figs are dried the plain way. No syrup, no glazing, no sulphur. What you get is the fruit’s own sweetness, a chewy bite, and the natural fiber and calcium figs are known for. Each batch is hand-sorted, and broken or hard pieces never make it into the pack.
Sweet on their own. Better in warm milk.
How to use it
Eat 2 to 3 figs as a snack, chop into porridge, or simmer in milk for the traditional anjeer doodh. Refrigerate after opening in humid weather.
