Lab reports

Every batch we pack is sent to an independent laboratory and tested against ISO 3632 for crocin, safranal and picrocrocin, the three numbers that decide what saffron is actually worth. The results are published here in full, including the batches that have sold out, because a lab report you can only see for stock still on sale is a marketing document rather than a record.

The code printed on your tin matches a row in this table.

3 batches published. Specific absorbance E 1% 1cm, dry basis, per ISO 3632-1.
